The Bend cycling scene
Bend is a small city built around outdoor recreation. Phil's Trail Complex is one of the best urban-adjacent MTB networks in the US. Gravel from the Cascade Lakes to the painted hills is endless. Road riding climbs into the Cascades from the doorstep. Winters dump snow but fat-bike groomed trails and indoor scenes carry the season.

Bend Area Cycling Enthusiasts (BACE)
A large, very active Meetup-based cycling community (3,000+ members) for adult riders on mountain, gravel, road, fat, touring, and tandem bikes. Hosts frequent organized rides ranging from easy to technical, some ending at breweries, with regular gravel and bikepacking events.
